The market’s and the consumers’ growing concern for the freshness and healthiness of food products, as well as for their traceability, prompted Zanasi to develop a specific system for egg marking: the new Z5000 EGGS.

Equipped with a stainless steel AISI 304 ergonomic industrial cabinet with high environmental protection, it can be perfectly integrated on egg grading machines (such as MOBA’s) without having to install additional computer programs. Thanks to its advanced 32 dots software it can print barcodes, logotypes and alphanumerical texts ranging from 0,8 to 14 mm, up to 5 lines. To have their logo and the product information printed on both the eggs and the packaging containing them is essential for manufacturers, who wish to give their brand a distinctive identity and to share their constant commitment in providing quality products. Moreover, the printer is compatible with a wide range of inks, specially formulated to come into direct contact with eggshells. These fluids ensure fast dry and high adhesion, the basic requirements for obtaining clear and not easily removable codes: the excellent readability makes retail more efficient, improves traceability and increases the consumers’ confidence.

Besides reliability, Z5000 EGGS also ensures cost saving: while the efficient vapour condenser maintains constant the printer’s performance and reduces consumption, the innovative hydraulic system performs an automatic washing of the printhead every time the printer is switched on and off, preventing long production stops.
